Delivered using presentations, videos, and real-life case studies, the course explores the nature and history of asbestos, where it can be found, and why it was widely used.
Participants will learn to recognise materials that may contain asbestos and understand the health risks associated with exposure, including serious diseases such as asbestosis, mesothelioma, and lung cancer.
