This half-day course is designed for individuals who use abrasive wheels as part of their work activities. It provides essential knowledge and practical skills to ensure safe selection, inspection, and operation of abrasive wheel equipment in line with legal requirements.
Regulatory Standards
The course covers employer and employee responsibilities under relevant health and safety legislation, including PUWER 1998 and HSWA 1974.
Participants will learn about common hazards, accident prevention, correct wheel selection, equipment markings, and the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
