This half-day course is designed for individuals whose roles involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling loads as part of their daily work activities.
Operational Knowledge
The course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to carry out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
It covers legal responsibilities under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1998, including the duties of both employers and employees. Participants will learn how to identify hazardous manual handling activities, carry out risk assessments, and apply control measures such as the use of lifting aids.
