ABOUT THE COURSE

Awareness and understanding of how to correctly use a harness is critical to safe operation of boom-type MEWPs. This Harness Awareness (HA) Course consists of theory training and a test.

The course provides a simplified route for those trying to gain knowledge, understanding and competence in the selection and management of personal fall protection equipment.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?

Candidates who do not need to personally use or wear a harness should take the HA Course. Candidates typically include:

FLEXIBLE TRAINING

The eLearning option for the HA Course brings candidates more flexibility and convenience. Candidates can choose the harness course or courses that best suit their requirements ensuring a tailored approach to their learning. This course can be taken as eLearning, remotely, in half a day or less.

QUALIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the Harness Awareness Course (HA), candidates will receive a digital certificate, accessed via the IPAF ePAL app.

All harness qualifications are valid for five years.
